I love this story so much. After working in various marketing roles that managed or worked with social marketing, it is such a pet peeve when people don’t disclose compensation or other considerations. And, on the brand side, we had it pounded into our heads that if endorsers didn’t disclose, we would be liable for

Whelp, you lost me at slide one with “Just Can’t Get Enough” at 30.

None of the content in the interview is really “tea” to be spilled when it’s his very measured, first-person accounting of events in his life.

I just hope there’s a functional benefit for this change and not juts an aesthetic one since Apple is notorious for this. I do use the volume and call mute buttons fairly often when the phone is in my pocket.

You are way, way off. Multiply that by 100 (literally, they had ~$200B of “cash” as recently as last year—it moves around based on timing of buybacks and value of investments included).

Now playing

We know she can act but I wonder if she can dunk as well as her.

Forgot about In America. Samantha and Paddy.

No, Cox and Gleeson.

+The Secret of Roan Inish, The Boxer, Calvary, The Butcher Boy, Song of the Sea, Wolfwalkers

I do think it’s complicated when one attains celebrity directly as product of their private life. It was definitely not okay to release that tape without her consent but there’s no way around that she ushered in an era where a lot of the treatment she received is in a gray area compared to people who became famous

Amazing!

As a few others mentioned, Above the Rim is an egregious omission. You could probably swap it straight up for The Basketball Diaries (which I was really into when it came out as a Caroll and young DiCaprio fan fun but it’s not really a good movie and, more importantly, despite the name, it’s not really about

This is the first I’ve heard about this film but I’m psyched Wright is getting a lead role like this. He’s brilliant.

And that was when “producing” really meant producing. Not the version of executive producing that many stars are granted or attain via their production companies. Douglas’ father had the rights but couldn’t get it made and Michael really was integral to making it what it became.

They are not only going after him. There is a linked article that lists others.

Yeah, I find it extremely unlikely he’ll retire from his career. This just reads as frustration and maybe a cry for help. He had a meteoric rise and became famous himself. I imagine he needs to figure some things out professionally to sustain the career he wants. Maybe he shifts the type of work for a while or tries

They are still definitley investigating him for rule violations (e.g., don’t bring firearms on team planes). TBD if anything comes of it or if they or the Grizzlies feel the need to suspend him following whatever type of absence this ends up be characterized as.

We wonder why men are overly obsessed with penis size. Huh, I wonder.

What? It wasn’t even nominated. Oliver! won that year (for Directing also).
