“Wipe it down with a damp cloth right after the spill” sounds a lot better than “well, that’s probably not going to come out unless you shampoo it.”

We just did an Encore last week. It’s got the same seats as the Trax (although I think the cloth pattern is different).

You’re probably also not trying to buy a brand new car with a 540 FICO score either...

We make life difficult for parts departments and collision centers that order interior pieces based on VIN. “Why does this Civic LX with hubcaps have black leather interior?”

As you know, Tom, I work for an aftermarket leather interior company. So we often get requests to put leather, heated seats, and a sunroof in a base-model car. One dealer in particular does this every few months. We have had several Mazda 6 Sport models in here doing this. They have this “Platnium Edition” logo

The same company did the “Pro-AM III” Firebird:

He’s in the gray. By responding, you’re legitimizing his trolling. Thus getting him the attention he so deeply needs.

It may be behind a paywall though. .

They’re not at all similar in size, and one is clearly lower than the other.

The Charlotte area tends to be hot and humid. Convertibles are nice in the spring and fall but not so much in the summer. High humidity and pop-up thunderstorms aren’t very convertible friendly if you’re using it for those purposes.

CP. 6 grand can get you a far, far better Fox-body. Even though they’re more common, I’d rather have a well-sorted Capri RS or 86 GT 5-speed for that money.

From Robert Brockway on Cracked:

This must be the vehicle of choice for near-retirement real-estate saleswomen in Charlotte. Every one I’ve ever seen has been driven by a woman in her late 50s and had a big magnet with her photo and a real estate agency ad on the side. And they’ve either been black or that dark burgundy with tan interior/top combo.

That’s less than $1000 above the going rate for a running, sorted 4-cylinder 190E. It’s cheap enough to not worry about it.

You’d think that they’d have improved their voice recognition in the decade and a half since they put GM On*Star in the 2002 LL Bean Outback.

If I have to make a call on the road I’ll use the phone commands but that’s about it.

I’ll concur with all of your other replies and say that it’d definitely look better in black or a dark, dark blue. With the chrome accent along the bottom.

The bodywork and fiberglass looks really good, so I’m going to quote a prior NPOCP comment from Flyingstitch:
