The line "that's a good song" in response to Sheeran clearly implies this is a work of fiction.

Gaiman, of all people, should know better than to use that kind of an exaggeration. He's been in the game long enough to know that a lot of people will take that literally.
The first couple of utter banality. It makes sense.
You're getting warm.
"I've asked again and again on AVC why so many people agree with the received wisdom that it's actually liberals' fault Trump won, and I've never had a remotely coherent answer."
Kegger at your house?
I'm in the picture?
I'm willing to bet she had no intention of showing up
Ain't that the truth…
Hold on. Was she advertised to show up or only obligated to advertise? If it's the latter, ye gads people.
Hell, I'll consider it a victory if none of them gets arrested before 18.
Any way you want it!
That's the way you need it!
You have every right in the world to react the way you did. No apology is necessary.
Oh yeah, I'm failing big time.
I wish I could tell you I've succeeded in getting somewhere. It's a very slippery slope. But resorting to name calling will only make it worse.
First things first. If I came off as condescending, I apologize but only to you. Clearly your circumstances are vastly different from people who I usually hear the "evil and stupid" argument from people who never have to worry about the same things you do.
I agree with the second point, nobody is doing anything. Nobody. Red state or Blue, people are sticking to their own group and taking pot shots at the other. That's why a lot of the same arguments can be applied to both parties. Same attitude, different rhetoric.
I think that's the part that makes me laugh the hardest. Forget the boat, bands, and the party, but paying 12 large just to be in the vicinity of a scantily clad female just reeks of pathetic. No touching, no talking, just being seen in the same group as them.
That was Smack My Bitch Up
How is that any better?
