"it doesnt have an engine so getting it into the shop was the biggest challenge"

@lostarchitect: was wondering the same thing... i thought it was for absorbing sound waves, not heat.

@photophile: we had so much bad jerky from that thing. the rusty slicer that came with it didnt help.

@walkingagh: well said. going 60 on our old rxdi is fast enough.

you used the same picture twice. or did he invent the xerox? no wait, he didnt.

@akuma_619: i didnt read about that, but i got the gist of it from "the prestige" :)

occasionally i'll taste a nasty metallic taste from a miller lite in a bottle, but i dont prefer miller anyways. beer from a can gets too foamy for me, and thats why i prefer bottle.

@mullse01: ha i just saw that episode tonite and loved the goldblum line.

It's because their brains are only a third the size of a mans. It's science.

there is no pretending.. if it has a ATSC tuner and built in speakers its an HDTV.

@CptTripps: maybe YOU dont want that many pixels on your tv...

looks nice, i think id go crazy or blind living there with all the white walls. then again im not the biggest star wars fan.

@38thsignal: oh im not saying its not annoying on your panasonic.. i accidentally flick the dial on my Lumix point and shoot as well... but the 50D mechanism was perfectly fine (which they could have used) and this 'upgrade' is going to hinder its usability.

@HTownTime: its 2010 and i have no desire to see my pictures on my TV. love watching TV movies and sports on TV.. my own pictures on my TV? no thanks.

@Luxowell: the great thing is that you dont HAVE to use the in-camera filters! genius!

@Mr.MojoRisen: the ergonomics, build, and viewfinder are worth more than $200 alone.

@38thsignal: the mode dial button looks very annoying... im not gentle with my 50D and i have never ever accidentally switched modes. its stiff enough to require good force to move it.

@tasteskindasalty: if the slinky wasnt a piece of sh*t that knotted itself up or kinked after a couple uses i would have more respect for it. but its really a piece of crap.

sure a car in public is freely accessible, but its totally illegal for someone to stick something onto it even if they CAN walk right up to it. its not an open invitation to touch your stuff.

warfarin. rogaine. penicillin. they all seem more important than a slinky.
