Really, can't we just submit the scripts of all 3 prequels for this topic?

Obi-Wan: Your father was seduced by the dark side of the Force. He ceased to be Anakin Skywalker and became Darth Vader. When that happened, the good man who was your father was destroyed. So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view.

Hilarious! As soon as I read the headline, "Hold me like you did by the Lake on Naboo" popped into my head. And then it appeared in the tease! LOL

Now playing

X-Men: "Do you know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning?"

actually the point is moot. It LITERALLY does not matter what title Abrams will ultimately choose from - the internet genre buffs who control sites like this one hate Abrams with a similar fervor to the Christian Fundamentalists who hate gay marriage. Any and all reaction to this film has been already been decided

Realistically, there are probably all of 4 people that know the actual title: JJ, Lawrence, Kathleen Kennedy and George Lucas, and nobody else until just before they're ready to announce, just far enough in advance of the announcement for them to put it in a trailer.

It's an interesting pop-cultural precipice we stand on. Any day now we are going to see our first true look at a character-costume, prop, ship, piece of concept art, etc. At that moment the third Star Wars trilogy will become a real tangible thing. It's like we are about to open the Schrödinger box, and discover

You're about to witness the full power of heavy make up and CGI effects.

Yeah sure, its not a Sith. Also, ST:ID did not feature Khan as the villain. To me this title implies some sort of proto-Sith, and we all know you can't trust a word out of JJs mouth.

I don't see an issue with it. A couple of latex appliances and the look could really work. It worked for Darth Maul, granted the movie had "issues" but the look of Maul was very good design and execution.

I think you are. Would you comment about a Caucasian actor having to wear black paint as an alien (Parks as Maul, for example)? See. Let's just pick the actor/actress that works best and give them the make-up the role requires, everyone's happy.

i can't imagine REWINDING 185 TB of data...

Indeed. That whiny tone on the site really gets on my nerves recently. They should hire at least one writer who doesn't give a shit about strong female characters or the amount of ladies in a film to even things out a little.

It's not even true, there's still the heavily rumored and talked about black female character that has yet to be cast. Though it looks like the character won't be in a lot of the movie (hence the absence at the script reading) it has to be a major part considering Lupit Nyong'o was (still is?) up for it.

Adam Driver must have a helmet or tons of prosthetics on, because that dude is just... I can't even say it politely: Man he's ugly.

Yes, it's just you.

Everyone's pretty excited about this movie franchise that has literally never produced a good movie.
