I am also a single person and I buy my eggs at Costco. Currently, the price for 2 dozen is $6.24 at my local warehouse.

First, don’t be deceived by dates found on egg cartons. Eggs will remain good for weeks past the sell by date printed on the carton.

I like Whole Foods, but it’s a whole ordeal getting there. It’s farther away, the parking lot is a hassle to deal with, it’s more expensive, and they don’t have a lot various sundries that I can get at the Safeway down the street.

Our Whole Foods sells half dozens, but only one brand and it is one of the more expensive ones. You don’t get to pick cage free, free range, Omega-3 or any of the other fancy adjectives.  You can usually buy a dozen store brand ones for the same price, but I don’t like to waste food so I usually buy them anyway.

A business is allowed to decide how they want to run their business.

Lets say you are a student working through your degree, you work nights during the weekdays but realize that you are coming up short so you want to work weekends as well. So you get a job at trader joe’s, your availability is only Saturday and Sunday because of your other job and schoolwork. Trader Joe’s approves this…

He’s damn lucky he got charges dropped. A DWI(u), like a traffic ticket, is almost impossible to beat.

I went to college in Fort Collins, its a college town, so they make a LOT of money off of these DUI arrests. The DUI fallout industry (counseling, AA, textbooks, Drug Tests, Charity work, highway cleanup Etc.) are all thriving businesses built around college kids getting DUI’s

Actually, big business sucks shit and anything that further degrades the rights and privileges of the working class is inherently a Bad Thing. Trader Joe’s should not be defended for rushing in a new anti-union, anti-worker policy. Companies don’t need people coming to their aid. They hold almost all the cards.

It’s not just knowledge. There’s an overhead cost per employee, having to do with the administrative work required for bookkeeping, etc. Cutting down the total number of employees at a store will definitely cut costs without cutting products or services.
