There are places in the country where $15/hr means a completely different lifestyle than another. It doesn’t make sense.

In Canada they have adjustments for minors, from what I understand companies don’t just can people when they become adults.

Where does the $15/hour wage come from? $15/hr can mean quite a difference city to city / county to county.

From the sounds of it their union is weak. Even then, they typically have morality clauses in their negotiated contracts.

Principals are typically not a part of the union that teachers are.

If you tried to enter Canada by land with a DUI, they would immediately turn you and your family around and send you back where you came from.

As silly as it sounds, DUIs have been reason to deny entry into The United States for as long as I can remember, even if you are just driving across from Canada to pick up a gallon of milk.
