He and his buddy Paul Ryan probably love to share stories about their amazing athletic feats, like Ryan’s sub-3 hour marathon.

So the family of the person who’s on death row has to pay the price of losing a loved one, too? That first dead person isn’t coming back. I feel awful for their families. But bringing the number of tangential victims up doesn’t make it any better.
People have compared him to Vieira (I wonder why...), but his play has been more like Scholes than anyone else I can think of. Tidy passing, great passing, and sometimes poor challenges (but not as bad as Scholes’ were).
Totally agreed. There’s no reason to think he can’t be as effective as a striker as Zlatan has been the past few years with PSG and United.
It’s not weeks of work, either. There are 2 days of games, and for the 9-5 crew, it’s about 6 hours per day that there are games. Plus maybe 5 minutes for a bracket on Monday.
I prefer non-citizens singing “Oh Canada.”
BONDS AND CLEMENS BETTER GET IN NEXT YEAR! Of next year’s newly eligible players, Jim Thome seems the only one who I think will likely get in at some point, though not necessarily next year. Bonds and Clemens will be on the ballot for the 7th year, and are well overdue to get in.
Why next week? Season’s over now.
Faulk also was recruited by everyone to play corner, and picked SDSU because they would let him play running back.
Can’t have the Jaguars come in and...steal the show.
Nothing snarky or funny to say... Inter’s defending was just awful. Nice finishes by Green, but jeez Inter made it easy for him. The 2nd goal was comical all around.
I won’t be surprised if they ramp up the violence so they can play a martyr. The team isn’t good enough to go anywhere in the tournament anyway, and this gives them the opportunity to play their violent games and have the world/continent conspire against them.
No questionable pass interference call, and Miami beats Ohio State in Fiesta Bowl to become back-to-back champs and ride a 35 game win streak into the 2003 season.
I am fantastic!
Looks to me in the gif that he ran up too close, and the ball was at his feet. Unless he just does a belly flop, any dive will be past the ball. So he stepped back, dropped down (or appears to at the end of the gif), and tries and fails to get the ball.
Miami did it with Larry Coker after Butch Davis left for the Browns. It worked out great, initially. But that was an absolutely loaded team, with great leaders like Ed Reed, Jon Vilma, Joaquin Gonzalez, and Ken Dorsey. As the players Butch recruited left, the record gradually became more mediocre with each season. The…

It’s important to be worried about peoples’ stickers on their cars.
The best (worst) part of it is that the Menominee tribe wanted to build a casino in Kenosha, just north of the IL border. WI already has numerous casinos, so it’s not like he would have been allowing gambling in an otherwise “dry” state. The Menominee offered $200m to the state to help fund the Bucks arena, and Walker…
