This seriously makes me want to vomit. I can't even form the words to describe how gross reading that makes me feel.

Oh my god - I love you.

I just really needed this today. I was just called a Femi-nazi for the first time. At work. By another member of the executive team.

My junior year of high-school, in my AP English class we were assigned to select a novel by a Nobel Prize in Literature winning author. I selected The Bluest Eyes by Toni Morrison and it seriously changed my life. I had always been a "reader" but nothing had been as powerful to me as reading Morrison. I read it

And now I am making my ugly cry face.

She didn't actually say sorry "if you were offended". She said sorry "to" those offended. It would have been easier / better to just say sorry, but I think that is an important distinction. I take more of an issue with her saying I would never disrespect someone's child, when she clearly did.

That is what I want to know! I clicked through and didn't see anything.

It's easier said than done, but just keep looking until you find a therapist who listens to you and who you feel comfortable with. I have had bad therapists in the past but once I found one that clicked it was a night and day difference. I have had times when I used medication, but many times when I did not. CBT, EMDR

Screw them. Do whatever works for you. The best sleeper of my two kids is the one I stuck in his crib early on. Sleep is good for babies and mommies and if sleeping in the crib helps you both get more sleep it's well worth it.

That is an extremely thoughtful NKOTB ranking.

If Donnie and Joe are last I have to know your power ranking top three. Please share!

Ugh.

Eff. That. Noise. I'm glad you didn't engage and just unfriended her. She sounds awful.

Can she set up her own bank account without him knowing, in her name alone, so that she had a place to try to save money that he can't see or access?

Life Insurance is supposed to be considered a replacement of income. Since children don't earn an income, the policy usually has limits that keep it much smaller than a regular policy for adults. My work offers voluntary life insurance and you can add your dependent children but the highest that they will cover is

I think it's funny! It comes off to me like he is joking in his own quirky way. I'm not throwing any shade.

Haha! The funniest part of it is that my mom has this habit too, and it always drove me nuts. It is totally one of those "am I really becoming my mother?!" moments that is always horrifying.

My hubby's pet peeve for me is that I go around picking up after him and end up throwing away drinks he isn't finished with yet. I see the half open pop and toss it when it turns out he wasn't done. Oops! As I posted to another commenter, he has a problem making sure stuff makes it to the trash so I'm not always sure!

My husband does a variation as well. He will finish something and instead of putting the container in the fridge he puts it on the counter next to the trash. Like RIGHT next to the trash can. It would take one moment of additional effort to throw it away. Drives me nuts.

This really pisses me off. I wish that I thought that he was just being an asshole, but I don't. I think he really believes this. And that breaks my heart. That he can't believe that it isn't about a liberal agenda but that it's about creating a space and a world that allows women to feel like human beings enough to
