And if you’re the kind of person that’s willing to buy TVs (particularly nice TVs, as you pointed out) every 3 years, that seems like a good idea.

There’s a brand of gelato that’s sold in clear plastic pints with screw-cap containers, which is absolutely wonderful. Dunno if it’d be cheaper or healthier than the B&J’s, but it does give you options when one or the other is on sale.

Unfortunately, most Breyer’s flavors aren’t all-natural anymore since the Unilever buy-out (I think the only one that still are, are vanilla and strawberry). And many of them no longer even legally qualify as ice cream; the labels call them “frozen dairy dessert”.

Totally agreed with that. They advertise that you could eat the entire pint and it’s only 150 calories — but they fail to point out that nobody with a functioning mouth would ever want to.

Patches are automatic with any game that’s tied in to Steam/Origin/GOG/etc. (so most of them), and driver updates via Nvidia GeForce Experience or AMD Gaming Evolved are a single click affair. And honestly, have you set up a console recently? It’s a lot like setting up a new PC these days, complete with massive patch

Could this also relay other HID devices? I have an old PS2 controller with a built-in keyboard I’ve been wanting to tinker with...

The PS4 Pro and the Xbox Scorpio both are the latest point in favor of dropping consoles altogether, IMHO. With every generation, the consoles get more and more like PCs, but they’ll never have the key strength of PCs - the openness that allows for modding, a huge indie game scene, fangames, competition in digital

The really funny thing is that Motorola beat them to this “innovation”. And it’s just as unwelcome on the Moto Z.

My favorite is Tasted. They do a lot of shows about restaurant items and manufactured foodstuffs (usually snarking on them), but my favorite thing on there is Rustic As Fuck, which takes traditional comfort food recipes and makes them a bit healthier. Noah makes a beef and vegetable chili that must be tasted to be

They do realize that the eggs in Pokémon Go are for hatching, not eating, right?

Also valid, IMHO. I’m specifically referring to the people who are ready to lynch them over not standing for the anthem, but don’t give a shit about the very real issue that underly their refusal.

SJW

The Russians and the Chinese don’t, but they have little respect for anyone outside their sphere regardless of who’s in charge. The Western world definitely respects Obama. At the very least, they respect him far more than they respected the last guy.

I’m just going to say this:

We tend to think of dips as white, creamy liquids with flecks of herbs or other greenery hanging out in there

In fact, this happens because lots of listeners actually LIKE hearing their favorite songs all the time.

Sad but true.

I imagine it has to do with that touchpad in the middle of the controller. Not a lot of controllers can replicate that input.

I’ve had the Altec Lansing VS2621 since Black Friday 2009. It still looks and sounds as good as it did the day I bought it, even after 3 house moves (1 of them cross-country). And it was (and still is) under $50. Can’t beat that.

I’d take the US SNES controller over the Super Famicom controller any day, just because of one small tweak: the X and Y buttons are concave, and the A and B buttons are convex. It’s a small touch, but it makes it easier to tell the buttons apart on the fly. I wish modern controllers did that.

This was meant for media professionals. People who made TV shows like Video Power, Game pro TV, Nick Arcade, etc. would probably have loved a unit like this.
