The more fanboys QQ over this game, the more I like it.

Troll post is troll!

I think this looks great - both of NT's previous games have been fantastic - Enslaved gets my vote for best game nobody played last year. I like the new Dante's look. No more man-bra, he actually looks believable now. Old Dante wasn't bad looking, but I definitely like the very punk-rock aesthetic over the weird

Scumbag commentors: complain that game companies never try anything new.

I was disappointed that it was no better looking than FO3 either. NV came out 2 years later, but they didn't touch the engine, which means that graphically it had stagnated, and looked much worse for the wear. 1 year later and I could see not much improvement. 2 years later? That's just lazy.

Personally, I found NV to be disappointing. It did have a more Fallout feel in terms of story, humor, etc, but it was a messy, ugly, buggy nightmare, and I thought FO3 was better overall.

But I'd still have to install, log in, purchase, download, and patch the game via Origin. Me having to manually add the game to my Steam library kinda defeats the purpose of steam in the first place.

Personally, I can't wait to see what this means for Fallout 4. It's not announced yet, but c'mon: Fallout 3 sold truckloads, and was basically just a post-apocalyptic mod for Oblivion, so it makes sense that Fallout 4 is coming, and will be based on this new engine.

I'm 90% certain this is fake.

I'm pretty sure given EA's current direction this means that ME3 is also going to be Origin only.

I'm pretty sure the only textures updated in the GoW collection were Kratos's textures. Maybe enemy textures as well, but I'm pretty sure it was just his. Honestly I didn't see much improvment in the textures in it anyway - at most they took higher-res original textures and replaced lower-res ones with the

There are actually some really good reasons for why it's difficult to get beyond 30fps even in an older game like this without rebuilding the entire game from scratch. It's the difference between a 2-4 man coding job and a 20 man coding job, more or less.

They haven't, and never said they were. They didn't update the GoW textures either. There will be a slight sharpness and increase in texture resolution that comes in not downsampling the game for SD (assuming you're playing the game in HD), but otherwise the graphics are the original game's graphics.

Depends on your tolerance for pacing changes. These are the intros for both games, but beyond each game's intro there is almost no story or cutscenes (save for a very few), so you spend most of your time in game controlling the action. Ico is mostly a puzzle solving game, there is combat, but it's somewhat shallow,

Atmosphere and style, mostly. Graphically they were both pretty impressive for their time, though now their tricks are old hat. Things like flowing cloth and bloom lighting were very rare for a PS2 game, but these day's they're practically expected.

Well said - and you're absolutely right: in an RPG, DLC has to be for the campaign and generally sucks after you've finished said campaign.

I generally wait for the GoTY to go on sale if I already bought the base game. Pisses me off too, because I don't want to pay 40-50 bucks for various DLC packs (Fallout 3), but I don't want to pay MORE than that for the GoTY when it comes out either, so I have to wait for the GoTY to be 10 bucks on steam before I buy

Simply amazing - Kristen is a very talented artist who has done a lot of amazing character work on GW2, and it's really exciting to see the Sylvari come to life like this. Previously they were much more closer to the "elves" category, but I think this really cements them as a unique and original race, giving them a

Well done sir, I award you 5 internets.

I don't want to know where FFvXIII is, I want to know where Final Fantasy XIII itself is! The game we got with that title on the box was clearly mislabeled.
