Well, the film and his performance are far better than his usual “dumb jock” parts.
Potential title - “What is the Color of Your Cheese?”
I find that some actors frequently get cast as “themself” (eg. Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Seann William Scott) and they do OK. But it’s when they do a character that is different to their norm, that they seem to do a lot better (eg. Seven Pounds, Collateral, Bullet-proof Monk).
