I might actually not read the books any longer. They're a ton of work, and while the story is excellent, without the push to know what happens next (even if the books are a little different) they will be tough to power through. I'll try the next one, but i wouldn't be shocked if i give up halfway through.

They've made him worse. He gets into a redemptive arc pretty early in the books (sometime in book 2 i think, its been a while) and doesnt, you know, rape his sister. By the end of the most recent book he was one of my top 5 favorite characters and someone I was actively cheering for.

At this point isnt GRRM basically waiting his middle finger at the book readers because, fuck it, we bring in less cash? I'm irritated to the point of saying that i'll continue to consume this series, cant quit now, but I'm not going to torture myself with anything else he does.
