Nah, I’ll stick around. Perhaps the show will improve. I mean most Star Trek shows are terrible in the first season. Granted this one has a much lower starting point.

I’m glad you enjoyed this series and can ignore it’s faults.

We have to be able to criticize things when they are bad. This show is badly written. It’s terrible from a storytelling point of view, and much of it’s violence and excesses are unneeded and uninspired and pointless.

Yeah, not buying it. Those were Starfleet ships, not ghosts. Ahem.

Hey if Star Trek doesn’t animate you or make you passionate about it, it’s totally fine. As I said, this was a rant, just a splattering of takes that I had after watching the show. The actors and set designers and all the rest deserve praise. But the story is just thin and limp and listless.

I think I speak for a good number of trekkies when I say... too bad it didn’t stay that way. (spoilers btw, so... you’ve been warned, seriously I’m gonna get preachy and annoying if you think this show is really good, so strap in or move on.)
