This sort of stuff is why I hope at some point we can all find something (that Trump does) to unite around. We all turn into caricatures online, spouting shit about being “triggered” or “nazis” or whatever, when at the end of the day, most people just want to get along with their common man.

It might be helpful to view attempted murder as an enhancement on various assault charges, rather than a decrease in sentencing for murder. At least that is how I would view it for this situation.

Its both interesting and sad that you equate the arrests with “Trump’s America”, given that the DC police were not then and are not now under Trump’s control. In fact, DC is administered almost exclusively by Demorats. But those little facts mean little to “journalists” like you.

Or how about we stop voting for the Democrat centrist that stopped caring about the working class in the 70s and never cared about poor and black communities. How about we actually live up to the progressive title and start voting for real progressive representatives?

Trump is horrid but we need to give much of the credit for legal harrassment of the press to Obama. His administration devasted tradional press freedoms and got the ball rolling in this direction. Despite all of the adorable memes, Obama was rather authoritarian in many ways.

You better do a story when they are convicted or cleared. We need to know how this turns out.
