The problem I had with the Independence Day sequel and Pacific Rim 2 is there were no stakes, it was mostly played for laughs.  The tone of both sequels and their originals are very opposite.

It’s the sign of a small mind and limited creativity.  Schur is the one who thinks communism is good and capitalism is bad so I am not surprised he is going to screw up the ending.  This show had potential but it became more interested in being woke instead of being funny.
