As with the Stadia, the phrase comes to mind “if done right it will be a game changer” and that is key.

That was so on point that it hurt...
I completely agree with this approach and the Final Fantasy series is probably only one of a few that can do it.
Two words: Domestic Violence.
Does it have the ‘so often the case’ reference that was fully funded by his father, which is only reason he can do it in the first place (i.e. this isn’t a poor working class kid clawing his way out of poverty for him and his family, etc.)?
Once you see it, you can't unsee it!
I quite liked FFX-2, although forgettable.
I really hope it isn’t like Borderlands / Destiny. The value of Control is its world and lore.
TLDR: Xbox through Game Pass is aiming to draw in people tempted by non-exclusives and with growing exclusive games will aim to increase the number of people who will just buy an Xbox instead of PS5 (or even Switch?)

Skyward Sword was the game that made me question whether I would ever buy a new Nintendo console again. I played it late on the Wii U (yes, that is how much of a dedicated Nintendo fan I am) even though I bought it on release on the Wii.
I had the same thought about Twilight Princess. I remember when it first came out there was a subdued response to it. Yes, it was a great game... but I remember the sentiment being that it felt safe. That Nintendo responded to the ‘criticisms’ of Wind Waker being too cartoon/ ‘kiddie’ by creating a darker/ ‘adult’…
So Dark Souls mixed with BotW and Shadow of the Colossus.
This is amazing! While it may seem strange to do so I am glad it is being preserved. Does an archive of handwritten guides/notes to retro games exist anywhere?
Not sure who you are referring to... But just in case... Super Best Friends broke up. Their channel has loads of LPs as well as podcasts.
