My first roommate in University decided to take up the flute. No lessons, she was going to teach herself. Jesus, that was the worst. We didn’t last as roommates (there were a ton of other issues at play) luckily I had the finances to break the lease and move to a better situation.

This reminds me of an apartment we had, the guy downstairs went out of town and let his brother stay the weekend. All day and all night: thump-thump-thump of shitty bass coming through the floor. We went down to ask him to turn it down, and no answer. After about hour 4, and our baby was trying to nap, we went again.

And there a billion and a half people with too much time on their hands and are starved for entertainment. I have been to a cricket match in Melbourne. All I saw were a bunch of drunks shouting and carrying on without much clue as to what’s going on. Perhaps in the other British Colonies the fans behave with more

I know you said don’t try to get you onto anything but the Bumble powder, and I wouldn’t dream of asking you to give it up BUT...in conjunction have you ever tried the Bumble and Bumble All Style Blow Dry cream? You put it in wet hair, and when you blow dry it acts as an extender. My stylist said it has the same

Oh, I compleeeetley blocked Cricket from my brain. Yes, cricket is like boring baseball, in weird clothes.

Every sport > baseball. I have no references, just a knowledge born of the universe.

PANEER. Nothing beats a well-made Mattar Paneer. Nothing.

Deer, caribou, and moose just taste really great.

I don’t do crossfit either, it is not for me since I prefer to use proper technique over getting as many “reps” in as possible, and also I prefer to be injury free, but the shoes are pretty good. That said I don’t solely power lift when I do lift, so there’s that. (Now I’m probably going to get some hate for the

At first. But then I thought it must be something “trendy” that I don’t get because I am over 30. I have to rein myself in, because my fashion choices in the early 00’s were also what my parents considered “ugly”. I was on point. Dammit.

I would think the hunted meat would be a point in your favour over mass farmed blah blah blah hormone blah blah antibiotics blah blah.

I love the reebok crossfit shoes for lifting. They are good and flat profile but you can customize them!! So fun.

Yes! I buy black tights, tops everything. I have 2 pairs of shoes right now, one all black with pink laces, and one pair of neon yellow/purple insanity shoes (both the same model) and I actually like wearing the purple and neon yellow ones more. At least my feet stand out!

My physio told me to go to a minimal shoe, and it took some getting used to, but now I am 1.5 years injury free after constant knee/ankle/hip problems. I love it. So much better than the big thick soled shoes I was used to wearing for “support”. (I run close to 40 miles/week)

what about New Balance Minimus?

I like the New Balance Minimus line, and the women’s and men’s fit identically. The women’s have good colours, but if you want plain black, red grey the men’s are more “neutral”.

We do a “pack walk” with our Akita 3x a week, the walker comes to pick her up from the house and takes her, along with about 6 other dogs of similar size for a big walk off leash for 3 hours and brings her home tired and happy. I tried daycare, but with my work schedule I couldn’t get her to the daycare and then get

General Lilly. I imagine the Target line was considerably less than that. Not snoot inducing at all!

It’s so fun to play! My husband and I played in a league with my friend and her wife. It was a great Tuesday night event. It was tricky at first, but we even won a few games! You couldn’t pay me to watch curling though.

It’s pretty common all over Europe. In Nice we were all about 14 and wouldn’t get carded, actually got served wine in restaurants, without parental supervision. I did a summer course in Quebec and we went to the nightclubs at 16, legal age is 18 but no one carded us.
