the shine falls off the Prius when they realize they can get 90% of the way there with a 1L Fiesta for 50% of the cost.
As a rider who usually sticks to Jalopnik...excellent post
Couple of things to watch out for:
Every issue has shown up in my mail box for over a decade. I’ve been reading National Geographic since a kid back when my parents subcribed to it. Pretty sure my fathers collection is still intact, shoved in the garage. While I do skim some issues, I still review every copy for the same reason I did back when I was…

I couldn’t get over the fact that he didn’t offer his passenger a helmet. That level of rudeness just puts the blinders on me.
When buying tools, don’t waste time going cheap. While my toolset is filled with craftsman, there are plenty of sold stuff out there and its worth the premium over the long run.

I picked up a new helmet over the summer and tried on a bunch of lids at a couple of places. At one place the salesman was offering an awesome deal on one of the Icons even throwing in free face shields. Between the vents, the shield lock pin and just certain aspects of the build I just could not see my self getting…
I think 200-400 (Street price) is the sweet spot for Helmets.
This did not acutally occur in the falklands war.
