Dude, stop.

It would create a rip in the fabric of spacetime that would destroy us all! Doomed, I say!

Not unless they're offering those mad ginseng deals via affiliated links. Everyone knows this.

The truth emerges at last. I always knew it, hippy.

Furby! How are you still not an author?! Paging the mods, please. Furby's awesome!!! Please make him an author!

Welcome to the mayhem.

And this is why I love you, GD. <3

"...old whore...?" Wtf is up with that, Jesus? Kinda offensive.

Yet another reason why Pinkham's so, so wrong. Tomatoes are food of the gods. :-P

Menudo is actually touted as a hangover cure. I wouldn't know, though. To me, it was just what my family ate for dinner on Fridays. And what we eat at Christmastime/New Years or at family get togethers. ^_^

Hehehe. Your list of food hates cracks me up. But thank you for the recipe! ^_^

I actually hate sweetbreads myself, but I figured more people have had experience, or an opportunity to experience, eating something like kidney or heart or lung than they do tripe. And I figured if they could get (or have gotten) over that hump, then it might help to understand that tripe has a pretty similar

I agree. Potato soup is downright heavenly. Über is just so very, very wrong. Lol.

Oh god. I once had this AMAZING portobello bisque at this tiny little restaurant and fell in love. By the time I got a chance to go back, the restaurant had shuttered its doors for good. Made me so sad.

I just now realized I missed an opportunity to write "for those who can't stomach eating stomach." *sigh*

There's also beef tripe pho. Don't knock it til ya try it. It's no worse than eating sweetbreads. I mean, it's different texture wise, but when cooked properly, it's tender and takes up some of the flavor of whatever it's cooked in. The flavor differences that come from the preparation between menudo and pho

We should wait together, eating bowls of tortilla soup.

Good, authentic tortilla soup isn't all that greasy. I've got a recipe that is primarily tomato based and fairly healthy, depending on how much cheese you top it with. Goes well with chicken flautas. Another good Mexican soup is caldo tlalpeño. And then there's the the PG version of menudo for those too squeamish to

I'm glad I was able to educate you about menudo. Hopefully someday you can try it. But try someone's homemade version first. Or a really awesome hole-in-the-wall Mexican place. Those are the only places you'll get good menudo. I actually have some leftover menudo in my fridge right now, come to think of it. And tomato

I'm a photographer. I have more photos on it than the average person. Also, sometimes I transmit photos from my DSLR to my phone to edit there (for fun). And I have a ton of memory-hogging photo editing apps.
