This game runs like ass—I have two GTX 870M's in SLI and it chugs on low settings. That said, YMMV and I've been having tons of fun with it regardless. Hope we get a performance patch soon!

Deep Silver/Volition, please buy back the rights for Descent/Freespace. For the love of god please.
When I first wanted to try Final Fantasy, I didn’t know where the hell to start and I was like “uhhhh let’s go with FOUR four’s a cool number”
Xenoblade Chronicles X is one of my favorites. Once you get past the godawful horrific pop-in textures in some areas, it’s surprising how much fun you can have cruising around in your mech exploring off the beaten path, jumping off those gorgeous waterfalls in Noctilum, driving motorbike style across the fuck-off…
And yet they’re not bringing back Surfing Pikachu.
Forget the spooky sandcastles—what the hell is going on with those Exeggcutors in the article thumbnail?
I mean, it makes sense. According to Yahtzee Croshaw, Streetpass was invented because if any square foot of pavement in Japan goes unoccupied for more than ten seconds it’s considered to have shamed its family. I reckon population density figures similarly here.
And this is why I support emulation.
Credit where it’s due, Nintendo makes a lot of really great games—they hit a lot more than they miss and they’re frequently art direction wizards. So due to this and the lack of direct competition in the handheld space—except for the Vita, hahahaghaharlhgnobarf—Nintendo gets away with pushing shitty hardware in the…
Literally the second I started playing Gwent I was like “This is just Fantasy Yugioh. Literally. God damn it there’s ‘life gems.’ THIS IS JUST GOD DAMN FANTASY YUGIOH.”
The dearth of content doesn’t really color me surprised. I liked Miitomo, but you ran out of stuff to do in that pretty quick too.
Great game. I loved it. Got it not too long after release, played through the whole thing in a few days completely spellbound.
I recently found out you can mute both team *and* match chat. I haven’t had so much fun with this game in quite awhile.
Escape from giant holes? Please, when Ilios comes up I spend the entire match IN the hole, only jumping out of my metaphorical meerkat’s nest to boost my healing output or convince my opponents to be my hole-mates by force.
I like Mei, personally, but I definitely agree with you that some characters are a nightmare to play against if their pilot is particularly skilled...I played against a good Mei a couple times, it was a nightmare, it was like she was everywhere at once jumping out of the shadows and iciclesniping my dumb ass.
INB4 “5/7 TOO MUCH WATER”
And the spreadsheets shall do war...the LibreOffice and the Google Sheets will unite against the mighty Excel, and there will be much blood...
Warframe is grindy as hell. So why do I like it, and why did I buy platinum? (I’m also a guy who prides himself on not buying into F2P games).
Because backwards compatibility is difficult from a hardware perspective. Nintendo could get around this by bundling a PowerPC side processor that control can be passed off to—annoying, but possible—but that's expensive and we all know Nintendo doesn't do expensive.
Props for the La-Mulana cred. That game is fantastic.
