“Her elbows are too pointy”

Right but this is not a comparable car to the FoST.

The yaris would end up being a couple grand less, at best, and people would still be complaining. Let’s just be thankful of another offering in this segment, please.

Focus RS isn’t made anymore and the Golf R will start in the low $40s, this thing is kind of alone at that price point. We will see what it ends up looking like but it certainly has potential.

I guess I’m alone here in thinking that $35k is actually a good price for a nice looking 300hp, 6 speed manual, widebody, hatchback, homologation, rwd biased-capable AWD, brand new car.... with a warranty.

As a C63 owner I’m both honored and offended. In no way do these things handle “like shit”, they do very well but were just not up to the level of a comparable E9x M3. These cars are head and shoulders above a comparable SRT product around a track, for example, but I’m sure a big car like the S63 would be an

Right... Range and acceleration are huge factors for most people looking at these things. Like it or not, Tesla also has very good tech relative to the other manufacturers, in general. You also keep comparing them to the Taycan, but that’s a six figure car and I think any reasonable person would rather have that over

Purely from a consumers standpoint though it’s definitely a benefit. No one here is trying to defend Musk, at least I’m not.

You make a good point on the road trip aspect. I have a garage and rarely drive far enough that it would matter, so it doesn’t matter as much as I previously thought. Quite honestly I’m fine with either a Y or a Mach E, it’s just going to depend on whatever one I can get the better deal on.

I mean sure, I guess that’s a compromise to an extent. Most owners seem to get adjusted to it rather quickly.

Very reasonable response. In regards to the Mach E, could you actually buy one over a Model Y though? The charging network of Tesla is really hard to ignore for me. In 5 years or so I’ll be looking for my first EV and I’d be good with either one, but only if the Ford depreciates a lot more. Also there’s that really

Wait, why are they so compromised compared to other Teslas? You’re paying for the battery and charging network, so I understand that interior quality, materials and general build quality are lacking, but that’s not unique to those models.

Lifetime battery warranty and it’s from a more legitimate company. The downside is the charging network though, which is a big one. Also I know looks are subjective, but cmon this thing is quite a bit better than the Model 3.

I’m confused for a few reasons here:

Does anyone under 60 give a crap about this movie? It was borderline unwatchable and Steve McQueen was an awful person. Let’s move on.

.... however I do really like the color. That can stay.

What the hell, this was never a talking point. You completely changed the subject lol.

You say the car would be based on the same platform as the 350Z, then say “A platform that’s been under Nissans and Infinitis for over 12 years.”.... didn’t the 350Z come out in 2002? That would be 18 years.

Right, 3.2k lbs would be reasonable with 400HP. Still, not very light, but decent.

No, I certainly wont. I owned a 350Z and a couple other Nissan products, which is why I’m not interested in owning another. These were just wishes for the product in general that I hope would entice other manufacturers into following.

I’m guessing they’ll put in the turbo v6 from the Infiniti Qwhatever redsport, which is fine, but I’d also bet that it’ll be automatic only. It’s also going to be heavy, because it’s a Z car.
