Or, you know, the American car manufacturers could make a superior product and the free market would eliminate those pesky German sedans.
That escalated quickly.
Yep. It’s dumb and a complete waste of time. I sympathize with people of color who deal with actual racism on a daily basis, but this isn’t it. I feel like I’m a progressive and generally considerate person, but compared to the way the world is going I’m the equivalent of Clint Eastwood’s character in Gran Torino.
Go watch his set on it and report back. This is not news and I disagree with this suddenly being in the headlines especially considering the actual awful shit he did. Take issue with him because of that, not because of this garbage nothing story.
I understand the point you’re making, but are we at such a point in society where people are really looking for things to be offended by that happened nearly a decade ago? This isn’t some newly resurfaced underground video, it was a very popular group interview series. Who decided that this was news? I’m genuinely…
This happened 7 years ago and we’re upset about it now because of why? I don’t understand how old clips like this, which are well known by pretty much any comedy fan, are suddenly a big deal in the news again. Furthermore, he’s a comedian and always pushes the boundaries, it comes with the territory.
Again, I own an F30. There’s plenty of room to fit our two gigantic car seats. This is a 3 series, not a suburban.
I have an F30 and there’s zero reason for this car to be bigger. The interior space on mine is PLENTY big enough, despite what this author claims for some reason. Clearly the naming conventions don’t matter anymore, so I think BMW could easily reduce the size those who were upset could just get a 5 instead.
Man those cars were superb. I had an 04 Forester xt 5 speed and loved that thing too. Even Subaru doesn't make a manual/turbo wagon or hatch anymore. Sad times!
Thts’s exactly the conundrum, the car appeals to me because it’s so versatile, yet they’re bordering on too valuable to actually use.
Yeah I’ve tried finding those down too and they’re unreasonably expensive. Add an Msport package in there too just to make it more of a unicorn.
I’m pretty sure the F31 was only ever offered in AWD with an automatic. The only choice was between gas and diesel 4cyl variants .
It’s hard to say that a 4 year old car is the most reliable car they’ve ever produced, we will need more time to say that for sure.
Funny, I owned a 65 F100 in that exact color a couple years ago. Short bed, V8 and a manual. I’ve never missed a car after selling it until that truck, it was so damn nice. Mine was a one owner with just about 100k original miles.
Resale of the 911 is much better too, which matters a lot when you're spending six figures.
Where’s the hooker supposed to sit?
Upfront cost is one thing, but the 911 will likely cost less too own due to depreciation alone.
Lol, this is so true. I’ve come to realize over time though that apparently Porsche just makes the best product, they win every review, have superb reliability, hold value like nothing else and are pretty unanimously loved by anyone who can afford them. It's because of these reasons why I hope to some day have a 911…
The Z4 won’t catch on fire, so there’s that.
