There’s a guy who did this on the 4g forum who got it done for the low low price of $14k, because you have to use the Outlander’s AWD system, not the Evo’s. The evo’s transmission won’t fit in the engine bay. You also can’t have a manual if you swap because the Outlander didn’t come with a stick.

They accellerate very well but run out of leg up top with a top speed of 141. The gearing is pretty close ratio. This car gets trashed here all the time, but I love mine: I paid $10,000 for a 22k mile sample (an ‘08) that I could indepenently verify as accurate. Thanks depreciation!

If the transmissions in these things didn’t grenade on you at 100k, I’d be in the NP camp. But I’ve owned this drivetrain three times already, and 80k is too much time on the clock to trust that transmission for any duty other than rolling that car on and off service ramps.

Most college students are under drinking age, and most schools (including Rutgers) have student bylaws prohibiting alcohol on campus or at school functions.
