I don't have anything to add to this. Except that I think there should be a comment here that isn't reacting negatively to it. I'm like "hmmm. Interesting. I had no idea this was out there, though I guess it makes sense it should exist."

What happened to your friend is awful and I'm sorry. But, frankly, I don't see how it's related to this woman's work to bring attention to the issue of medically assisted suicide in the face of quickly degrading health.

I'm glad his neighbor wasn't the type to slam their door in your friend's nose and state "I couldn't care less."

Instead of being dismissive, maybe you should actually listen to what MANY commenters are saying about that last sentence. Just because we don't work for Jez doesn't mean we don't have a point.

Reads pretty snarky.

I'm quite familiar with the masthead, thanks. I was merely wondering if Julianne signs off on her own stuff or if it's someone higher up. If she does, then she really ought to have been clearer with the article's final sentence. That's all I'm getting at and I do regard it as a fair question.

"When you become an editor at Jez..."

Nice deflection but going by that logic, I've got to ask: who's the editor responsible for the writer not being clear about this? (Honest question: no snark intended).

Okay, that's fine—my mistake. I don't think it's crazy that I thought that, considering the wording.

Agreed.

A sponsored positive review.

I'm kind of stuck on the fact that she shot her friend in the stomach. No Remy Ma for me.

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Americans are responsible for their "cultural imperialism"? Here's an idea, if you don't want "American culture" in your country, stop importing it. Nobody else is to blame. I'd love to hear the damage this "imperialism" is doing. I'm sure listening to The Black

"Cultural imperialism"

She has no discernible talent so far as I can see, but I'm definitely not her target audience, so I'm left kind of baffled.

But this? Yeah, pretty funny, pretty clever.

This is hilarious, and I have now shifted Iggy Azalea from "waste of skin" to "tolerable" on the Hater Index.

I'm still not a fan of her rapping accent, but damn, gotta hand it to her for embracing the diss. I think it's hilarious.

The SEC deserves 4 teams in the top 5.

Can't it be both? The partnership certainly effects coverage, but if USC/Texas/whoever were still as successful as they were a few years ago they would still be getting a lot more coverage.

Does it matter at all? Who gives a fuck? They still have to play each other and then there won't be 4 in the top 5.
