Bottle episodes are definitely nothing new to Trek. Some of the greatest Star Trek episodes ever take place in (mostly) one setting. Balance of Terror comes to mind.

Funny how people praise DS9 for upending the core utopian idea of Star Trek while they complain about Discovery doing the same. Not this writer in particular, but generally speaking.

I have last year’s version of this model. It’s mostly good. Very capable, does a good job at cleaning/mopping. Only problem is it will drive over elevation changes in the floor (like a fireplace) that are shallow, but steep enough that the robot can’t get back out. You’ll need to find a way to keep it from going over…

Can we get someone else to write the reviews for the back half of season 1? Aside from the bias, it would be nice to read a more meaningful criticism of the show than “it’s different than the other shows.”

Yes, there have been several actually good episodes. io9 writers seem to revel in crapping on the show. Hell, just watch and decide for yourself.
