This. I wonder if there’s a bit of a confirmation bias/tautology in the study. “What do people that like people look for when deciding to like other people? Why, the ability and tendency to like other people, of course!”

“You’re awful, have some free money!”
So, basically everything Donald Trump is NOT.
Hi Patrick if you want to be a good friends you should watch my pets while I’m gone for two weeks.
Fine. Let’s be pedantic. I revise my statement to: “she shouldn’t have to give back any money in order for her decision to be more meaningful.”
Why haven’t you reached out to Mylan as well?
How is my reading impaired you said it would be more meaningful to return the money to the company and I’m saying it wouldn’t. I believe with this particular situation she has done more then enough.
I disagree. Why give money BACK to the greedy turds that want it. I think what she did was respectable and set a good example.
Because her giving back money makes it more meaningful? Cash trumps sentiment? I would suggest that cash taints sentiment in many cases. Or using the time no longer selling for them and using it to fighting them. You know, further expressing the principles she already has shown.
Why does she have to donate or give the money back? I don’t understand this mentality. She has publicly come out saying that the direction the company is going she doesn’t support and has since severed ties. When she came on that wasn’t the relationship was now it is. Stop being Silly.
I agree she shouldn’t have to give back any money. She got paid before they did this. If my employer breaks a law today, am I supposed to give back all the wages they paid me? Mylan raised the prices and she left the relationship. It seems like she’s acted properly.
Why should she take a loss? Her accepting payment has nothing to do with this. If she were shilling to protect the price-gouging then I’d see it differently.
“They went on the defensive (offensive?) this morning saying that they would increase their programs to help people who can’t afford it (more hoops) and push for more insurance coverage (apparently not understanding that insurance companies get their money from people anyway).”
Bingo- they hide behind the insurance…
If you aren’t happy with the relationship being severed within 48 hours of the relationship being exposed as shady, they you will never be.
Because she doesn’t want to help make a company whose ethics she disagrees with more profits?
A (probable) guess that adds nothing to the conversation. She was their spokesperson, they started to act poorly, and she’s no longer their spokesperson. That her PR team saw this as the good move for her career/image doesn’t mean it isn’t in fact good for the public as well.
Because she did not wish to be associated with them anymore after recent actions? Why shouldn’t she be free to make that choice?

Kudos to her for explicitly stating that the price increase is why she is severing ties with Mylan.
Exactly. It’s not hard to see that all of the admin overhead is what bogs down their numbers. If corporate Uber is taking a 20% cut of income, then they have to spend less than that on everything else to be profitable. And right now, they’re not, by a long shot.
