That is an interesting take on it. I think though that my ex did it because he had a weird fantasy about it. A red flag I should not have ignored but I did. What can I say, I was dumb. I won’t make the same mistake again in the future though.

I know a few people who did really, really, well by using alternative treatments alongside conventional treatment. Mainly the alternative treatments (acupuncture, herbs approved by the oncologist, etc.) helped manage the unpleasant side effects of the chemo/radiation to make the whole experience slightly less

No, in contrast it seems that most of the commenters you’ve been responding to are saying that doctors who have lost their license to practice medicine in whatever country are not to be trusted whereas you are arguing... I honestly don’t know.

Agreed. I’ve been in similar situations and no I’m not traumatized by the experiences. Nor did I “give in” out of fear of death or anything like that. But still, it was wrong and I have to admit that I hold a lot of resentment towards my ex for doing that. To the point where I can’t even look at his face without

Wow, just wow. Ok. I understand your reasoning (specifically that you didn’t try to get away or push him off of you or start yelling NO when he started taking your clothes off etc.), but I still think what he did should be considered rape. You did tell him repeatedly that you did not want to have sex with him and

The antiperspirant is probably what is causing the staining. Supposedly its the aluminum chloride in the antiperspirant that stains fabric.

It’s true. NSAIDs increase the risk of gastric bleeding. Aspirin is an NSAID. Also, Advil can be very toxic to the liver if taken long-term. Ideally, I hope we can find something that relieves pain without potentially causing further damage in the future.

I feel you. I really do. But, no, heroin should not be legalized. Not for any reason. First and foremost, the effects ultimately depend on the individual. In other words, there is absolutely no way to discern a safe dose since that depends on a variety of variables (organ function and tolerance to name a few). We have

Do you remember the news story a while back about woman who had somehow managed to store a gun in her vagina? Is that common?

I also believed that girls only got their periods once in a lifetime. It was pretty upsetting to find out the truth at age 11.

You forgot angry carrot, which I like a lot.

I agree with everything you said, especially the psych part. I think she probably really is sick and not feeling well to begin with but then depression or something else is combining with that to make it worse.

There is absolutely no way in hell that you are an actual attorney.

That is the truest story I’ve heard in a long time.

Angry Carrot.

I’m sorry you’re going through so much and it is understandable why you would be so angry. I personally haven’t Cosby-ed anyone yet today (or ever) and am by no means affiliated with the MRA movement mostly because I happen to be female and those dudes gross me out. I’m not really sure where any of your comments are

What?

Sorry! Poor reading on my part then. Party on, friend.

Yes, I get that. We agree on this point. However, I think that the totality of the evidence against him so far is enough to consider him a guilty man. Especially in light of his guilty plea. That, I guess, is where you and I part ways.

What?
