As an olde, I love how square Cage is. I love that he believes in hard work and trying not to cuss. He believes in being humble and simple over showy and flashy.

What about Diamondback himself? I found him entertaining in some scenes, because he’s so clearly chewing every bit of scenery in sight (like when he calls out, “Carl! Come out to plaaaaaaay!”), but he never really seems like that much of a threat, like Cottonmouth did. And his last outfit was, although comic book…

Hah, I just realized the “science” behind Luke’s experiment. Remember what Pops said a lot, according to Luke? Heat and pressure is what cleans up coal (Carl Lucas) into a diamond (Luke Cage with diamond skin).

I take issue with this comment on a few levels:

So we can suspend disbelief enough to buy a fantasy epic set thousands of years in the past about monsters attacking China, but not enough to buy that a couple of white guys could have found there way to country?

After MoS and BvS I think it’s understandable that Wonder Woman and JL look amazing by comparison. That’s the power of low expectations.
