I know this announcement is (by no coincidence) confusing to consumers, but Bethesda’s statement suggests VERY strongly that their games will remain multi play. This looks just like the Mojang deal — Microsoft bought a publisher, which will continue to publish games across platforms as it did before.

MS makes way more money off Minecraft by putting it out on as many platforms as possible.
They’re paying 7.5 Billion for Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Doom, and Wolfenstein. which is honestly probably a steal considering they’re basically some of the largest franchises they could buy.
“Stop wanting something new” isn’t really a solution.
They wouldn’t have to compete with the bots if they weren’t supporting the bots.
The only real way to prevent this from continuing to happen is to have laws put in place to make this practice illegal. Because it is illegal for ticket sales but not for merchandise.

I saw somewhere a guy made a bot that artificially inflates ebay bids for things that bot-users have been scalping. It was specifically the RTX 3080, and he was jacking up prices to $30,000 and then the bot would, obviously, never pay. Makes it impossible to unload the product.
Zero interest in Demon Souls. They could give it out free and I wouldn’t play it. Less than zero interest actually, if that’s possible.
