I’m always perplexed by tired “They say this now, but they said that then!” takes. Different situations are different. And people defend their people. And do you even know it’s the same individuals positing the two positions?

That first scoop shot was nice but some pretty bad defense. Why jump straight up in the air that far from the basket?

Yeah the autoplay thing is awful.  Just bad behavior, can be turned off in ten seconds by the site, and not a single visitor wants this to be the default behavior.

Haven’t watched the videos but if these are their first words of each, it probably says some interesting stuff about self-identification of people who grow up black or white in this country, maybe couching their ambitions in non-threatening terms.

I don’t understand the love for Tom Petty. He’s.. fine. I know a bunch of his songs because they’ve always been on the radio, and they’re fine. They sound comfortable as an old leather jacket, but it’s a Members Only jacket and you really don’t love it but it’s always just been there.

Gah.  I was too lazy to scroll back up to see what his weapon of choice was. 

Yeah good point. It’s a flaw in the ethic of most of these lawless idiots — they’re all for King George if he lets them keep their guns.

Anyone who thinks an automatic weapon is necessary for their fight against tyrannical despots is clearly dangerously paranoid and should not be allowed to come within a hundred yards of a firearm.

And to be clear, my issue is with auto-playing videos with sound, a complete annoyance.  The profanity thing is just icing.
