That’s what I was thinking while I was reading this. Most people have been through some kind of science class where they were taught that you know, the male seahorse carries the eggs and “gives birth” or that female spiders are typically much larger than males and a lot eat the male spider after they get done with the

He could have but why not try to figure out how turn the gate off? He had a kid with him and that gate was incredibly dangerous. Even if it were just me, I’d have turned it off just to eliminate the danger. What if he walked around it and then a band of Storm Troopers showed up and pushed them into it?

Some thoughts: The fire in the quarry wasn’t meant to be an impenetrable barrier. Vader didn’t want to kill Kenobi at that moment so he got his torturing in and let him “get away” so he can catch and torture him again. Vader loves a catch and release.

What are you talking about? Cattrall gave an interview to Variety Magazine that was published on May 5th where she’s asked about it and talks about it. She didn’t say “Google it” - she answers at length:

You could ask the opposite too: why colloquially describe the functional relationship of two inanimate objects using those particular descriptors rather than any other colloquial terms?

I think he knows why it’s just that he finds it odd that plumbing implements and seatbelts are referred to in that way. Like why give them sexes as opposed to just saying like, “latch and tab” for a seatbelt or “internal or external” threads for plumbing stuff.

“It’s more performative crap that reduces all of this to some sort of feminist Coachella,” Christina told Jezebel. “Donate to an abortion fund, donate to clinics on the front line. With everything that’s happening at clinics, anything else is a waste of time.”

What’s wrong with going to Disneyland as an adult without kids?

Wait so you’re just not gonna mention that the diapers were made to draw attention to how absurdly overpriced actual diapers are that people buy for their babies?

I also do not understand the adults (especially ones without kids) who go frequently or as ‘their’ annual vacation and are fully kitted out in head to toe Disney themed clothing, etc. It’s sad at best, creepy at worst.

Apparently I’m in the minority but I think this is the point where you start gracefully refusing to comment because this is some stale ass gossip.

He’s entitled to be who he is without expressly putting a label on it for the public’s benefit. He’s never said he’s queer/non-binary/etc. He’s never said he’s anything in particular, just that he likes sex like anyone else his age.

It is literally a game show on Royal Caribbean: https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=2299

Jezebel is investigating whether any “goofy” games on a major cruise ship involve wearing lingerie and heavy drinking and will update pending our findings

You were trying to return stuff directly to the person who lost it - she had the option to turn it in to an office (or whatever their procedures are) which would have relieved her of any responsibility for it.

Nah, I thought of that - she may have left it in there to see if anyone came asking about it. If she brought it home, it would have been obvious that she stole it. If she left it in another place, it’s possible someone could have taken it to the office and the money would be gone.

No but it hasn’t been reported that she did, thus commenting about why that hasn’t been made public if people are so gung-ho about defending her.

Just as a theory - I don’t know of course - she may have left it in there to see if anyone came asking about it. If she brought it home, it would have been obvious that she stole it. If she left it in another place, it’s possible someone could have taken it to the office and the money would be gone.

What motivated me? There’s a lot of righteous indignation but some clear weirdness in the story that isn’t being acknowledged.

I didn’t miss it - USC doesn’t close down completely during Spring Break. I live near there and there were students galore coming in and out of campus at the time.
