Personally had a lot of fun with this episode and every sketch had at least one point that had me smiling. The fact that Ariana was such a charismatic and likable presence helped a lot.

...So you read through a thread talking about most anticipated games of 2022, saw a comment about someone expressing how much they liked the predecessor of one of those games and decided to leave a snide comment because you didn’t like the wording in which those positive feelings were expressed in?

Horizon Zero Dawn is still one of absolutely favored gaming experiences of the past years.

That felt like a startling miss on the list. I mean regardless of how one feels about the original, personally my heart soared with it, it is still one of the generally most anticipated games coming out this year.

I mentioned this in the other thread, but the fact that the only acknowledgement from the judge of the girl was to bring up swimming in her underwear and drinking alcohol continues to blow my mind. It is just... I mean if that judge decided to do this, it would have been so easy for him to even offer lip service

That was not only a blast, but kept surprising me constantly on hard it kept earning that rating it got. Really good action scenes and while you could sense the covid restrictions in the scenes, excellent work making the sparness a fitting part of the world.

To add to that misplaced empathy, and to expand how gross it was, there is an absolutely horrific detail about the explanation he gave that occured to me a little bit later.

If there is one thing we’ve learned about Boba over these first episodes is that the dude has an impeccable eye for recruitement.

While I did still enjoy the show, although certain aspects of it will soon probably become grating, there were three visual scenes that legit made me giggle over how utterly silly they were.

So apparently it got even weirder as after the media storm hit, the judge threw the lead trial attorney for the county’s State’s attorney out his courtroom because his wife has seen that the attorney had liked some of the tweets critical of the judge. Because of that he didn’t feel like he could be fair towards the

I actually went and read through the whole transcript. At no point does the judge even mention how difficult this must be to the victim or express sympathy towards her. There are mentions about 16-years old having access to alcohol and all that, because of course this douche would find that at the heart of it as any

Oh I got that, I just didn’t think the article was well written as it comes across as bitter about people being impressed with what Bell did. Which inherently comes across as snarky towards her.

I’m a little bit confused by the sheer snarkiness of this article. Not because I don’t think there’s a ton of criticism about the sacrificing of those teenage skaters, but this just feels like an oddly hostile take on a 25 year old woman reaching her dream and being proud of it. I would understand it better if it was

Thanks for the correction, although my larger point still fortunately stands.

I think there the implication of the Angela arrest scene, that Dex would have killed her if he had an opportunity, was kind of a neat reference to how Doakes died. Although I admit that might be my own mental gymnastics as I always feel that was the episode where the show kind of lost sight of itself.

Not in the sense you mean, no, as everything that was relevant the story was established even in the old movies. Or at least given lip service.

Thanks for the further information and man that is wild. While glad that everything sorted itself out, it is hilarious that JMS still cannot stop coming across as a raging dick in these stories. Even here where he just could have been open about everything as they settled out alright, he still did this.

I would say this kind of exemplifies a certain issue with this show as it not only assumes that everyone watching it is a Star Wars fan, which is fair enough, but that they all also have a deep understanding of the Star Wars galaxy and its various inhabitants. So it doesn’t need to waste time explaining literally

By the way, Boba’s criminal organization continues to be such a hilariously weird operation. Apparently it is a pretty big city and somekind of an important hub worth a lot of money, yet Boba seems to think that he could run it all with him, his right-hand woman and two muscles. Like no information network, no

The visual storytelling is working for me fully still at this point, to the degree that so far I’m not even bothered by the fact that they just did essentially introduced Dancing with the Wolves to Star Wars.
