please have an “i’ve been unemployed for four months and my camera fell off a bridge because my friend wouldn’t use the strap and she’s more broke than me.” option.

I’d go with the Nikon Z7, but that’s mostly because I already have Nikon glass. It has 45MP, will shoot 4K UHD, and can shoot up to 9fps. 5-axis image stabilization is built into the body.

My pick is the Lumix GH5. Not only is it super compact and great for travel with a wide array of m4/3 lenses available, it also boasts 60 fps video capture at 4k resolution. I love my Fujifilm X-T3 + 18-55mm kit lens combo. After using Canon for decades, I recently switched and am only upset that I didn’t switch sooner. I’m a dad so I document my 9-year old’s adventures and it keeps up nicely. Read more

You have a 90 pound pizza pan and no food processor? Weird flex. You need 1 nonstick for eggs, and stainless is the Truth and the Way. Food might stick but you can brillo that shit!

Oh, I actually kinda enjoyed it. It kinda became a game where I had to listen to the sizzling to determine it’s trajectory, and I’d gotten to where I’d duck and dodge the skillets without even turning around. Game was over when a health inspector saw me get beamed (UNPRECEDENTED!) and screamed, “HEY, KNOCK IT OFF!”

Yeah, but it’s more fun to chuck a scalding-hot skillet at your dishwasher’s head with their back turned. Ask my former boss!

A big ass cast iron pizza pan. I’ve never actually cooked pizza on it, but it stays on the big burner of my stove all the time. I have other cast iron pans but I use this for 90% of my cast iron cooking. If you don’t already have an integrated flat top on your stove, these are essential for everyday searing, browning,
