actually the lead in the book is more of a practical problem solver kind of a guy than a science nerd.

it would have been great to just start the trailer with those lines. also the book really creates the mood with no earth scenes for initial few chapters.

love the book. it is quite a fun read and you feel happy reading it. did not like the serious tone of the trailer much. they have obviously tried to make it like any other hollywood drama. the casting seems spot on though (even though jeff daniels gives a newsroom vibe).
