I always read multiple books at once, and have never had a problem with it. I don't look at it as "veggies and dessert", though. I think about it as "sweet snack and salty snack"

You should add "I don't have time to do that".... Instead, it should be something like "I don't care enough about that to make it a priority"

Especially love that other people cannot control our feelings unless we let them and that people are offensive because they are showing more about themselves than it is about you. More people than you realize. Clothes hide a lot of the details, but when you see someone with a bit of a hunch in their shoulders, chances are their lower back is a mess, too.

You really wouldn't keep a cushy job? Maybe it's just because I'm young, have no kids, etc. but if I didn't have a job I feel like I would get very bored very quickly. I probably wouldn't work full time if I won the lottery, but I'd certainly do some part time work just to keep myself busy and to feel like I'm doing
