Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you did - I think the way you described it is perfectly reasonable. It just set off a memory of mine of that situation taken to the extreme, where naivety had turned into willful ignorance.

I grew up in the whitest of middle class suburbia and I remember a girl in my sophomore English who, while during our discussion of To Kill a Mockingbird, proclaimed that "racism didn't exist anymore". Even as a 15 yo in 99, I still knew that was an outrageous conceit.
That was sarcasm. And not even about the quality of the games themselves, just the dumb names.
I've got my pull list here as well. I have never been in a more friendly and welcoming comic book store. It's as far away from the Simpsons comic book guy stereotype as you can get.
Isn't this from last summer?
Did we see the same movie? Or did you really mean to write Speed Racer instead of Green lantern?
I was just thinking of this. Thanks for posting.
$2.25 gets you anywhere in the 5 boroughs and includes subway-bus transfers. Sure, it has its problems, but worst? No way.
Yeah, I hear you - I really don't blame anyone but myself. I still really like io9 and jalopnik, but I've been coming to Gizmodo less and less these days.
My takeaway from this video was that they used more real props than I thought, not the other way around like the headline.
I just don't agree that Star Wars was ever that dormant - the Crystal Star came out in 1994 and was the 6th SW book to reach the NYT bestsellers list (and that book was shit.)
X-Wing and Rebel Assault came out in 1993 and there is a steady progression of video games after that. The 90s is also when Heir to the Empire and all those came out. That's not a very long period of dormancy that you're talking about, especially since it's been continuously successful over the past two decades. There…
Freckles?
Bloody expensive is an understatement - the wikipedia page says that when it launched it was the most expensive production car...in the world.
Uhh, I'm just going to say this isn't true at all for me. I've been running CM10 on my AMOLED S3 since I got it last July and I see nothing like what you are talking about 11 months later.
Right? It's not like I like Anita Sarkeesian's way of presenting her message but there's clearly a reason why this is a topic for discussion and should not just be someone jamming fingers their into ears and singing "la la la la la la can't hear you"
Deleted, never mind. Plenty of other people have already said the same thing.
He sure does like to complain.
I'm not sure to thank you or hate you for making me google that picture. Well, I hate that I only saw it on a tumblr where the picture was captioned "There seems to be a general “I hate Greg Land HE SUCKS!!” consensus out there… I do not concur, and am using the above example to support my argument. So much awesome.…
Your picture didn't come up for me but I just know that it was his O face he loves to draw.
