Yeah - clearly these days, digital media is under stress and independent journalism is stumbling. There has to be a way to make this work but like you I have no experience in journalism or the business side of it either.

The writers who left today also forewent their severance, if I am understanding correctly, so it was extra ballsy to quit.

I think Pence could ultimately do more damage, BUT I don’t think he could get re-elected in 2020 if Trump somehow got ousted. So in that way, damage mitigated.
