“I personally think all consenting adults should be using their own form of birth control,”

1) You won’t be able to convince them.

This.

I remember reading that evangelicals are slightly more likely to get an abortion than most people - probably because they don’t get proper sex ed - so I am guessing the number of women these men know who have had an abortion is also a bit higher than it would be generally.

I’ve seen people argue that women should “make” the guy they have sex with wear a condom. How, exactly? A woman can put a condom on a guy, but a woman can’t be sure the guy will keep it on.

“Remember separation of church and state? That’s still in force.”

One advantage the GOP have over Ceaușescu is they are still able to appeal to racism to get people to vote against their own interests. As long as they can keep their base afraid of black people, immigrants, and Muslims, they will have support even for Ceaușescu-level hideousness - especially since the bulk of the

Socialism AND violence! Two things Kennedy definitely doesn’t want to go together.

Also, as Warren pointed out, if you go on Fox, you contribute to their revenue.

Yep. For those that don’t want to “put chemicals in their bodies,” there’s even the natural condoms. I find lambskin condoms kind of gross (and they're only good for preventing pregnancy, not infections), but they are natural, and you can also get natural rubber condoms made from a literal rubber tree (not petroleum).

This should be further up.

Those who don’t learn from Ceaușescu’s disastrous decisions are only too happy to repeat them.

I hope women who may have been considering going to university in Alabama and Georgia reconsider and find a different school.

This drives me nuts. I have friends who are fine thanks to the miracle of modern medicine, but the medications they take would harm a developing embryo. There is no way they could take care of themselves AND deliver a healthy baby.

“Not all women want to put chemicals in their bodies. This gives women a choice that doesn’t involve putting medicine in their body.”

“reducing the possibility of a tragic accident is worth the tradeoff.”

I’m not sure what your point is? Things could be worse, and things are going to get worse.

Maybe he had some basic anatomy lessons in school? If he's a farmer, maybe he's done some butchering? I don't know. It is pretty impressive that he was able to do that and live.

Apparently the new tasers that police department bought do not “subdue” people as reliably as older models of tasers. The ultimate responsibility for her death rests on the officer who shot her, but I also blame the company that sold the tasers and the police department for providing faulty equipment and bad training.
