I have never thought of prayer as asking for something or hoping for something, since it has always seemed to me that if God exists, they are following the Prime Directive with regards to humans. I am hoping Klyden has an epiphany, but I don't see how that could possibly happen. He just seems like such an awful person.

I think the humor has really gotten better in the second season, like when they risk their lives for a food replicator. It was hilarious AND it drove home how desperate they were.

At first I was really rooting for Bortus and Klyden, and now I just feel Bortus is trapped by a mate who will never understand him and frequently actively undermines him.
