It’s been 2 weeks and my sweet little Moxie girl is still missing. My  heart hurts.

Your story gives me hope. Thanks. I won’t be burning down houses but I do go walking behind his house calling for her. My way of twisting the knife while still trying to find her.

He does remember approximately where but it’s a big open field out in the country. I’ve walked all around the area but I can’t get into the fields because it’s too muddy.

I haven’t found her yet. The worst is not knowing. Is she scared? Is she dying? I feel so guilty. I just want her back. I am so sorry about your dog. Our fur babies are just so precious.

No she isn’t and I’m kicking myself for not having it done. She is tattooed though.

My other cat disappeared last year. And I believe the same thing happened to him. We did find him after 5 days,dead on the side of the road. He had almost made it all the way home. I would prosecute but by-laws say that pets are not allowed to be on others property even if accidentally.

What’s been really interesting about this whole thing is that I did an informal poll about this with my friends. All the men except 1 said it was no big deal and I overreacted and all the women said I did the right thing. Too much to be a coincidence.
