That’s a nice belief, too bad it doesn’t reflect reality.

If it were a modern person talking about their spouse, you’d call God and Job’s relationship abusive.
Oh, I’m aware of all the pain and suffering in the Bible, all of it done with the will and sometimes explicit delight of your god. Like Job, whom he tortured to win a bet with Satan.
It didn’t “get me” into anything. I’ve read your holy book and found it sorely lacking, if not shockingly immoral and hateful.
I just saw that Pudding Hair Color stuff at my local Korean market (for much cheaper, too)! It’s hair dye whose appeal is supposed to be that it’s less runny than the traditional stuff. You shake the ingredients together and the resulting substance is supposed to be easier to apply and keep on because it’s a thick gel.
Just some bushes, nothing to see here.
*smirk* If I told you that, I’d have to return all the tea in China.
Nice!
LOL yeah. The only one people get is the one I posted about that I wore today. The rest confuse people.
I dressed up in different costumes each day this week. Halloween? More like Halloweek. Today’s is my favorite. Saved the best for last.
We were both very much atheists when we both met, yes.
If this is Christian kindness, thank goodness, again, that I live in a non-theocratic country and don’t go to church.
I am no longer a Muslim and am an atheist, as I said, so I don’t care how any god believed in by any religion thinks of my relationship.
Oh, and it just struck me that you think that I love and respect him “despite” his disability. Woooooooow.
I said nothing of my family, actually. His loving Christian family turned their backs on him. My Muslim family and atheist friends, as well as my former Muslim current atheist self, stepped up for him. So your god had exactly nothing to do with it.
You didn’t “offend” me. You gave your god credit for something I did. That’s messed up and unfactual. This is me correcting you.
Praise be to me, jerk. Christianity and your god have done nothing for us. Churches and his oh-so-Christian family turned my husband away for help due to his lack of belief in your religion and the misguided Christian Right belief that he must be faking his disability, but my atheist self as well as our atheist…
Even if he were fired rather than not renewed, they could easily obscure the real reasons with ones that aren’t illegal, and it would fall on them to prove that it was actually for illegal reasons, which is quite hard to do.
Sorry, meant to reply to the person above you.
“Cover your head or we’ll forcibly shave it” and “STFU in church” are never okay in any context if you care about women’s rights. Period.
