As a Canadian, I used to get a kick watching Jeopardy in the 80s when Trebek would have Canadian questions and 90% of the time they were answered incorrectly. Eventually the contestants caught on and learned their Canadian trivia.

For example, the Australian production Mary and Max was adult and a good story to boot, but it was a feature. Name a good graphic novel - Maus, Transmetropolitan, Locke and Key, anything by Seth, Two Generals by Scott…

I work in animation, but not in a position that could make a difference in the direction the shows are going.

I am getting so tired of adult animated shows being all potty humour.  Graphic novels got over that twenty years ago.  Can we please have an American animated series that is for grown ups?
