Um, I thought the symbolism was actually pretty obvious around the White Walkers-global warming conclusion:

How she found them exactly isn’t answered, unless you assume the “Where’s Fury?” scene at the end of Captain Marvel has already happened before the start of Endgame.

YES. Watching everyone in the room, all grizzled men who have seen their shares of both suffering and bravery, slowly stand out of respect for both what Jamie was doing and what Brienne had earned, was one of the most touching moments in this whole series. I was tearing up as well.

I already knew it was coming because I read the recap, but I still had a little leak in my eyes. My girlfriend was chiding me about it all the rest of last night. Don’t even care. It was such a great moment.

Brienne’s smile just broke me. In the best way.

I loved how Tormund basically goads Jamie to do that. Partially, as a way to show he also cares about her as much as Tormund does. But most of all because he genuinely doesn’t understand why it’s a thing.

Farscape is definitely one of my all time favorite space operas, kind of blew my mind when I first watched it. A good mix of intense drama, and some zany humor, awesome practical effects and puppetry, and the CGI was quite good for the time at least, though I don’t think CGI holds up THAT well, I have often seen worse

Agreed. I think one of the reasons the CGI stands up is the same reason why Jurassic Park’s CGI stands up to today: it was used sparingly and practical effects were more favored.

One of the greatest Sci-Fi shows ever. Totally underrated.

Farscape set a few standards for me.
First sci-fi TV series.
First regular exposure to Muppets.
First exposure to a legitimately strong female character in Aeryn Sun.
First exposure to Claudia Black (cause why not?).
And first exposure to one of my favorite protagonists in a series ever in the form of John Crichton.

I just started rewatching it myself again since it came to Prime (it’s easier than the DVDs). I was thinking the CGI hadn’t held up that well, but man, the puppets and sets sure have. So much so, that I stopped noticing the CGI being out of date.

Its on prime?! Nice!

D’Argo is one of the best written sci-fi characters I’ve seen. So easily to dismiss him in the first episodes as just a large dumb brute. But more and more is revealed of him and about, and Simcoe portrays him soo beautifully.

I’ve been scared to rewatch it and worried I’m remembering it through rose-colored glasses. Good to know it holds up.

Farscape is still one of my favorite shows. I even have gone so far as of rewatched the shows in a netflix schedule kind of way. Even changed the episode order to make it even more thrilling. So I made it last several seasons long.

I dismissed it early on because of...well, Muppets. But once I gave it a shot I was hooked. The journey’s of the characters was amazing. No one ended where they began. They grew and changed. Dargo’s betrayal by Chiana and his son was heartbreaking. I kept waiting for Zhaan to come back somehow, but no. That wasn’t the

The stretch of episodes where Crichton was “twinned”, having no significant difference between versions except diverging experiences and neither character being designated as “the original” or “the duplicate” was an outstanding bunch of writing.

Love the article. Farscape was an essential show and my favorite in that style of sci-fi episodic adventure.

Generally it takes several years of preparation, work and permits to get something like this up and running. It’s highly unlikely any company will touch this with a ten foot pole after it’s been declared illegal AND there’s an election in 18 months
