For restaurants, I love Decca, Proof is really fun, and Jack Fry’s is old Louisville. For something more casual, Feast BBQ is good, Bluegrass Burgers is tasty, and Guaca Mole has tasty cocktails and good Mexican. Oh, and there’s River Road BBQ down the road from Champions. I don’t love it, but it’s always busy, so

Then I’m afraid you may have the wrong girl. I goaded my husband into seeing it on Saturday night, and I think he’s still a little pissed, but he’ll get over it.

It’s certainly true that in adult life it’s necessary to ‘put yourself out there’ and it can be difficult to meet people. I guess I was thinking more about the on-campus college experience, where potential partners are everywhere.

It is pretty sad that it seems ‘basic human empathy’ is something that needs to be explicitly taught.

‘...daily conversations about the pursuit of sex.’ Reading that made me feel a little sick. I mean, I’m hardly surprised that college boys are interested in sex, but this sounds...gross. Why does there need to be a ‘pursuit.’ That alone sounds predatory. Whatever happened to letting things progress naturally....meet

I don’t agree with the general tone of your comments, but I also think your not wrong about how the white middle class in STL feels about this situation. I’m afraid STL is going to become more and more segregated. And the idea of a city/county merger? Ain’t gonna happen. Even though it probably would be in the best

If I’m cooking, I make what I want. I know what kinds of things my family likes, and I make the choice. If someone has a special request, then I’ll make what they’re craving. But otherwise, they seem pretty content to eat whatever I make and my reward for cooking the family dinner is having whatever I want.

Saw it last night. Definitely not a movie for a new mom in the post-partum period.

If Missouri disgusts you so thoroughly, I assume you always stay on your side of the river and never cross the bridge?

Hilarious that her mother (the blond woman in the pic, I assume...) is wearing a gold cross. What a nice, Christian family.

I consider myself a bit of an expert on babies, and in my opinion, that is one cute baby.

And God help you if you have a spouse who travels. He takes a charger to put in his suitcase and his briefcase. And they NEVER come back. I’ve tried labeling them with tags marking them as mine, bought hot pink cables, and even tied one to my desk. Nothing deters him from taking my chargers and leaving them in some

All right, here we go with a defense of St. Louis-style pizza. It is definitely different than most other styles of pizza. The crust is cracker-like and slightly bitter on the tongue. It’s not dry at all, and a bit flaky. The sauce tends to be a touch sweet and very thick. The toppings are pretty standard, nothing

It is a very thin crust and a very special blend of cheeses. It might not be everyone’s ideal pizza, but to those of us who grew up eating it, it’s incredibly...what’s the word...satisfying.

I guess I’m just a little bit of a baby about my birthday. It definitely means more to me than Xmas. I don’t have to have a party or great presents or anything like that, but I do try to make sure I’m free to do whatever I want (eating well, reading, catching up on favorite tv shows...) and avoid doing anything

But a lot of doctors won’t renew your BC pill script until you have an annual exam.

Wait a minute...you get your exam on your birthday? I had mine yesterday, along with a mammogram, and honestly, that is NOT something I want to have to do on my birthday.

I got a Yellow Fever vaccination as and my husband and son did as well, and we were all fine. I guess we were lucky.

You know, you’re right. My 14-year-old son goes to the dentist every 6 months like clockwork, but I don’t remember the last time he went to the doctor. We hav insurance and can afford to go to the doctor, but he hasn’t been sick, and the doctor hasn’t recommended any check-up appointments. He had the first HPV
