Anthony Bourdain also featured Puka Dog, although that was on Oahu. He might be partly to blame as well.

I think fish on Friday is such an ingrained habit for some older Catholics that its just now a matter of culture, even if it no longer has a religious proscription. And there are some who never changed their habits after Vatican II, although that generation is fast dying off.
And you ignore the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and what you did to Poland, Finland and the Baltics...
I would need a whole lot more fiber than I already eat to tolerate steak three times a week.
Also, ask the Poles, Finns, Czechs, and Baltics how righteous the war was in their neck of the woods.
Also, if this was in the spring near the end of the war, meaning 1918... German diplomats were in no mood to negotiate. It was only after the Ludendorf offensive broke down in the early summer that some in the German government started to consider negotiating. So, I’m guessing this film actually takes place in the…
WWII was much less morally clear on the eastern front.
Did anyone else see “Sherman’s Showcase” and “Civil War” in the headline and think this was something about General William T. Sherman?
Everything I keep reading about Kanye West seems to scream “manic phase of bipolar disorder”. His ego may not completely shut up, but put him on lithium and it will probably significantly dampen.

Do they specifically mention the real address in the show, or is it easy enough to find through the paper trail from the original article? If the former... well, that’s really bad.
My all time worst example of this is the crappy Battle of the Bulge film from the 60s. Belgium, quite frankly, does not have deserts.
I always appreciate when Disney tries something off-brand, either in visual style or in writing. Lilo & Stitch is a good example where the end product stands out in a good way.
It was the tuna sandwiches that sealed the deal.
I would argue, though, that Sinatra was a pretty good actor all along, although he did mostly just light musicals until From Here to Eternity.
Me too. Germany has made some excellent TV films about their own difficult history (and not just the Nazi period), and most of them are never distributed outside Europe, so I’m glad to see Netflix picked this up.
A genuinely warm, snark-free article on the AV Club. Who would have thought?
This is pretty common in most of Europe too.
