That is both extremely hilarious and sad.

You’d think they’ll be fine that Ashley is hotter in the remake, and I am already seeing Ashley mods in very not kid-friendly outfits.

The Carlos from RE3 remake is in dire need of a haircut, I think they ruined his character, that’s very un-Latino of him, and makes Umbrella too lax with their mercenaries’ dress code.

They released the VR version of Resident Evil 4 as they were working in this remake (it even got nominations for best VR game of 2021), so it must be at least fresh in some people’s minds. It doesn’t help much because the remake tricks people familiar with the old one in unexpected ways.

Before 5, RE3 was my least favorite non-spinoff RE, and turns out, 3 is my least favorite of the remakes so far. If Capcom keeps that consistency, I am not looking forward playing as steroid-era Chris.

The chances that boulder is going to get punched are really high.

Most of those games on that list are bad, and they have fans that would defend it. I defend only one bad game and it’s not even on the list, Call of Duty: Ghosts.

It seems Capcom is setting up the stage for a RE5 remake, and I truly think this should be the one that they detour the most from the tone and story.

It is the only non-spinoff Resident Evil game that I have never owned, but I understood why it sold that well. A friend of mine who doesn’t play anything but NBA2K and FIFA bought it and made me play it with him for about an hour. They won a new larger base, but lost their original fanbase. In the end, they made the

It was during the 16-bit era that Nintendo realized that cheats like the Konami code and the Gameshark became popular because console games didn’t have to be as punishing as arcade games. The difficulty of Mario, Zelda and Metroid were intentionally turned down a notch in the SNES. The Gameshark made the Konami code

The first videogame hits all have similar problems when they tried to pull off sequels. The sequels of Pac-Man and Donkey Kong were spinoffs (Ms Pac-Man, Donkey Kong Jr, you can even call Mario Bros a spinoff, and Super Mario Bros a spinoff of Mario Bros). Pitfall and Space Invaders never truly had a decent sequel.

I

I don’t think people regarded Zelda II as a bad game back in the day, it was very divisive, like The Last of Us Part 2.

There were some part-2s that were controversial in the 80s, like Super Mario Bros 2 and Castlevania 2, all changed back to basics on the third game (including Zelda), Castlevania 2 of all I think

I doubt there’s a consensus on Life is Strange being a bad game, after all, it spawned multiple sequels. The only thing I can think of is the cringey dialog and the CW-Network show vibe. Asides that, people mostly agreed it’s a good game.

Resident Evil 4 is unapologetically videogamey. A collection of classic videogame ingredients cooked to perfection.

Kamoshida’s castle from Persona 5.

Just make her CGI, like Hulk.

Final Fantasy VII remake is excellent, combining turn-based with some button mashing. It’s a balance very hard to manage, but they did.

Miles is half Puerto Rican, so there must be even some native Taino features in his hair, black hair is not a monolithic experience.

That’s a good question because I think the Western anime is truly a thing. Castlevania on Netflix has anime cred because the art style is inspired in Ayami Kojima’s work and the Castlevania series origins are from Japan (with Western themes, so it all comes full circle).

Strange that he wants to get out of the mold while producing a game that strictly subscribes to the Japanese beauty standards of blond, blue-eyed people.

They are going to nerf the vags now because you guys were having too much fun.
