Generally its gradual. Cars just hold less of a charge. It’s not a really common thing for them to completely crap out quickly unless you have an older leaf. I highly recommend electric. If you don’t need great distance, check out the Fiat 500e. Those get about 100 miles and can be bought used for super cheap. Or look…

Yeah, a 100 is not needed. I have a Tesla and I use a 30. Some people just want a faster charge at any time they need it.

Your not getting a new pack. You are getting a refurbished pack. Telsa RARELY will give you a new replacement pack (unless your car is pretty much new). My advice is to ask them to give you the best one that he has in stock.

out of curiosity, why install a 100A level 3 charger? From what I read, a 30A level 2 charge it overnight with ease. I don’t have 100A free in my panel, I’d need a new line run from the street

Ah yes, I’ve seen that b-pillar wear on a number of these. I’m shocked that Elon Musk hasn’t announced some sort of new atomic element that Tesla has developed and will be retrofitted to ensure that part never wears again.

Just curious - you mentioned “and in real world winter conditions more like 150" and “Even worse in sub 50 degree weather”. Have you used it in 10 or 20 degree weather? Asking for those of us in the north...
