I think it is actually more like a performance car with some limited crossover utility. Probably nothing more than packed gravel (there is only one tire for the 20” rims — I’ve been waiting 2 days for a flat to be replaced), but definitely can haul so much more. I think the respectful ground clearance with low roof

Yeah, I rented a 2006 Legacy (not the TOL though) and loved it’s dimensions. So sorry they did away with the design. And heck, if they at least had an automatic that wasn’t a CVT, they’d have my interest.  But no...

That’s a good question. I was being somewhat practical in my search (we already have a lot of cars with two kids) and was looking at the V60, allroad, bmw wagon, clubman and countryman, even a new Buick Regal TourX. So this is out of those price ranges obviously, but I drove it, loved it and even walked away from

This one actually doesn’t have the massive wing, just a little spoiler.  Yeah the CLA is kind of like the Model 3 in that the hood and trunk areas look too small for the cabin.

For now I like it where it is height-wise, but I appreciate the info. I’ll have some fun thrashing it about, but won’t get anywhere near comp level. I took the BMW driving school and realized how little we utilize the capabilities of the M/RS/AMG. If I ever did put this out there, then I would definitely implement

I can’t form an informed opinion if it’s the best, but it is a lot of fun to drive. I call it Barley Rocket (as opposed to Rice Rocket for the small Japanese racers)

No, still love the S, but another car in the stable became a little less...stable and thought this would be a very fun alternative and with the crossover component slightly more utilitarian.

I’m 6’2”, so getting into the GLA is slightly easier than the CLA, and thus going lower isn’t one of my intentions. I also like the longer roof and rails for easier transport. And I thought that Jalopnik had an article on this tuned car but couldn’t find it. In any case, this would be ideal:

I literally purchased a 2015 GLA AMG 45 with similar miles last week. I was never interested in the sedan version, but I can attest that the small crossover version is a hoot to drive. In Comfort mode it’s pretty reasonable, but in Sport everything is turned up to 11 and Manual does a very good take on acting like a

I feel like Hansel (or Gretal, I have no idea which is which) finding a gingerbread house in the middle of the forest. Seems too good to be true — but gonna vote NP regardless.

I’m not sure about the diesel part — I don’t know much so I am looking it up, but it appears to be a gas engine.

a 4.2-litre AMC OHV six offering up 98 horsepower and 193 lb-ft of torque”

This seems like a troll job on just how far someone can drag a populous that considers the 240 one of the holiest cars in the divinity of car design.

This is like going to Little Italy and eating at Olive Garden.

Hennessey: “You know how modded Honda Civics look ridiculous to 99% of the population? What if we did the same to Cadillac’s ugliest car?”

I truly am thankful for my Tesla. Tesla itself might not be around in 10 years, but it is the revolutionary car design that just might help mitigate our climate and pollution problems. It’s giving the world a drunk punchers chance, which is one more than the rest of the industry was willing to provide.

Hey, hey, easy kids.  Everyone into the car.  The boat leaves in two minutes.

Whoever buys an electric car new is a dolt.
