I think this show has really hit its stride, and Ward has really grown on me. At first he was a bland version of Steve Rogers (who in many ways is Captain Bland, so that's saying something). But he's been given a lot of depth since opening up to the operatives and joining in their poking fun at him.
This is the part where I brag again about editing the novelization, which I am perversely proud of. (I also own the soundtrack album and play it often!)
